Q-series error codes shortly explained

Now and then a software feature is developed and added to a generic software version. When new functions are added, often there are some error codes associated with it. It is possible that not all fault codes are enlisted in the Q-series configuration manual. The list below contains all latest alarm and error codes with a short explanation for all Q-series controllers. If you can not find an alarm or trip code in the Q-series configuration manual, you have a very high chance of finding it in this list. 
This list does not have the intention to provide a full on explanation and resolution for each fault code. To learn more about the specific issue you are encountering, please consult your controller manual, or create a support ticket with us.
It is possible to generate a list of error codes based on the software inside your controller. One condition, the software has to be ControlsStudio (CS) compatible.
  1. Open the CS software.
  2. Open the software KIT via the file explorer.
  3. Navigate to the fieldbus register configurator tool.
  4. Click the 'export HTML' button to generate the software specific fieldbus register list (in HTML format).
    1. This fieldbus register list also contains a table, listing all the error codes.
  5. Save the HTML file.
  6. The HTML file should automatically open in your browser. If not, navigate to the file and open it.
  7. Scroll trough the document until you reach the 'CODED-ERROR' table.

The table of error codes below has been generated out of the Q2OLF2ST.E32 software. This software contains ALL error codes for the Q-series controllers.
